Digital Signal Processor

JVC-original high-performance Digital Sound Processor (DSP) is designed to create optimal sound onboard. Five EQ presets are available for easy customisation, while users can also professionally fine-tune the sound using 5-band Digital EQ. Digital Track Expander restores the high-frequency signals lost during MP3/WMA compression process, offering closer to original sound. Loudness Control and High-Pass Filter/Low-Pass Filter also work to offer superior sound quality onboard.

Time Alignment

Designed for the audiophile inside you, we're now giving you the ability to create the perfect sound stage in your car with time alignment adjustment, offering the best sound field and sound quality for your car, tuned to your taste. We've included 10 presets that you can select to match your car type, or if you really want to get involved you can manually adjust each speaker distance from the listening position in 5cm intervals for the ultimate of control. Time alignment controls at what time the sound is sent from your speaker, this is done because you generally sit off center in your car, so by delaying the sounds coming from some speakers it means that all of the sound waves hit your ears at the same time, giving you a sense of being "center stage" in front of a performance.

"My Sound" Equalizer

My Sound EQ allows personal customisation of sound. Users can adjust the sound for their ears and the car environment by listening to test-tones in five frequencies, each represented by a different instrument.

Separated Variable Colour Illumination

Almost every car has different coloured lights throughout the dash, so it's often hard to get an aftermarket head unit to have a factory finish. However at JVC, we make it easy to match your cars factory lighting giving you 30,000 x 30,000 colour combinations to choose from! Yes, that's a whopping 900 Million colour combinations!

Auto Dimmer & Brightness Control

You listen to your radio during the day, and pump it loud at night, our head units will adjust with you and automatically dim the lights on the head unit so we don't blind you at night, and keep them bright and visible during the day to ensure you can see all the info you need to. If automatic isn't your style, you can adjust the brightness yourself, it's simple to do and you can choose from 32 different brightness adjustment levels.

Efficient Searching

With thousands of songs on your iPod, USB Drive, or HDD it can be tricky to get through them quickly. So we've developed an automatic accelerated search feature that means the faster you turn the dial on the head unit, the bigger we'll skip through your files, the number of items skipped will gradually accelerate from 1, 10, 100, to 1000. This will also work when navigating through your phone book when connected via bluetooth.

There's nothing like playing Angry Birds in the car while you wait for to collect your drunk mates from a night out, so why pain your ears with your tiny iPhone speakers and instead utilise the external mode with JVC head units. It doesn't matter if you prefer to control your iDevice from the unit itself or from the head unit, because we allow you to do both! It's now easy as punch to control your device directly from the unit or you can keep things traditional if you like too.

You can easily switch between a conversation on the head unit or your mobile phone by a push of a key. If you have a person & business phone then fear not! You'll be able connect both of them to the JVC head unit and have it automatically switch the the phone that you need to answer!
